Chapter Two

I finally figured out a title for my new story. It is gonna be called Cat for now, unless anyone has a better one. (LOL) I tried to work on chapter two today, but today I didn't have a mechanical pencil. (I can't normally write with a #2 one. LOL) Heres what i have if chapter two so far:

"No, I'm a rabid gerbil," the cat said sarcastically, "Yes, I'm a cat!" "Wait, if you can transform into a cat then your a WITCH!" I jumped back, nearly tripping over a rock. Witches were hated in Delwyn, they were considered evil. "I'm not a stupid witch, dummy," he said rolling his eyes. He transformed back into the stunning boy. "Fine, if your not a cat then what are you?" He looked at me and smiled, "If I told you, I would have to kill you," and with that, he vanished.

Who was that? I thought. The boy still lingered in my mind, his stunning gray eyes and charming looks mesmerized me.

So thats all that I have so far. If you have an idea for the title, comment! Thnx!

Chapter One: Gray Eyes of a Cat

Chapter One: Gray Eyes of a Cat

The Royal Garden’s stone archway glistened in the sun after the hard rain had fell on the tiny kingdom of Delwyn. The bright sun beat down on the garden making everything seem so alive. The crossandras’ orange color matched the sun’s bright glow. I sat down against a large Dogwood, next to a patch of colorful Hoyas. The morning breeze drifted the dogwood’s petals over my white dress.

“Hero,” my sister, Annelies, walked through the stone arch, delicately touching the plants rooted in the arch’s cracks. “Yes?” I answered, trying not to sound too annoyed. My sister rolled her light blue eyes at me while she placed a strand of her straight brown hair behind her ear. “Dad needs you at the castle immediately.” I rolled my vlue eyes at her. My father was the king of Delwyn. He had dark hair which was turning gray and and strong deep blue eyes. “I’ll be there don’t worry,” I said sighing. “Whatever, you better hurry, Hero, you know how Dad gets.” Annelies turned around and slowly approached the wooden door of the massive castle.

As soon as Annelies was in, I began my way back. A robin nervously hopped around my feet as a cat stalked it in the bushes. A squirrel quickly scurried up a tree, and a bee buzzed around the colorful flowers. A boy with dark wavy brown hair and eyes a stunning gray, stood just beyond the arch. “Who are you?” I asked, mesmerized by the boys charming looks. He smiled. “You know who I am,” he said in a smooth voice, “or at least you will.” I began to say something, but then I realized he had vanished. “Hello? Where’d you go?” What the crap happened to him?!? I thought. “Uh, hello right here!” said a calm quiet voice. I looked around, no one. “Hello, did you hear me! Where are you?” I asked again. “Down here, moron!” I looked down. In the boy’s place was a cat, the color of the boy’s dark hair and had the same stunning eyes. “Oh my gosh! You’re a CAT!”

Alright, I admit it, I am not done with the research for my story. I did work on it a little though, to make sure it stays fresh in my mind until I am done with the research. So here is my refresher:

The curious, blue eyes of a child looked over Liferen. Her small hands touching everything, reaching out to find a new wonder.

Eirlys. That was her name.

Eirlys didn't like the heat, it made her skin burn. Her heart wished for the cool feeling of her mother's cheek pressed against hers. She looked at the street, a rushing river, and wondered over to it, longing for an escape from the sun.

Flawless three year old feet dangled in the flowing water, Eirlys enjoyed the feeling. Giggling, she sunk down a little farther; knee deep now. Ryder came, pressing his round face just below the surface of the river street. Eirlys pulled him up. "Ha ha, put your feet in," she laughed.

"No!" He cried, water dripping from his chin.

So, that was it. At first I didn't think it really had anything to do with the rest of my story that I WILL be writing. Surprisingly though, I found a way to fit it in. By Haily

The Wolf Thing!

Haha. Me and Haily were having a fight bout who in the story should be the "WOLF" lol. Her main char was so i dont know now. ;) Aderyn Elise Rose was the character i created!!! You'll see the picture i drew of her later...

Ps. WAFFLES!

My Super Mega Awesome Book

Okay, so maybe I don't have a title for my story yet. When I get one though, it WILL be super AWESOME!  What'cha say about that 'ABBERS'? Anyway, at least I kind of know what the story is about. I still need to do a ton of research, so I know more about the setting and my characters. I didn't realize it would be this hard to write an ACTUAL story, and I guess I have to thank C  and Abby who are letting me borrow some of their made up characters. Of course, I made them sign a contract saying I could use them as I please! :) Written by Haily, p.s Abby can have the wolf.
